More Snow

Feb 7th:

More snow!  

I ran over to Salem to clean house, but the weather was getting treacherous, so I cut short my cleaning and got back.  I-5 was quite empty, with several vehicles that had slid off the road.  Traffic was moving very slowly, which was perfect for the conditions.  The drive wasn't too bad - what usually took me 45 minute, took me about 1 hr, 15 minutes.

This is the worst storm this area has seen since 1994!  By evening everything is shut down - even the metro trains and buses are shut down.  I am glad to be indoors.
