Day trip along the Columbia

April 28:
The bridge is under repair...
Covered in plastic

Showing off the natural beauty of this area to Navi Aiya and Upalika Akka...  Lokka and I took them to Multnomah falls, and the took the scenic road from there to the Bonneville dam and fish hatchery.  We then had dinner at Cascade Locks, and back home.
The creek is beautiful

The kids poking around in the creek
Too finicky to actually get their hands wet!!

Bridge on the old highway

Lift me up...

Under the bridge when a container train
passed overhead
Fish Ladder

I could have sat and watched
for hours...

Some of the tools used on the power
generators at the dam - they are huge!!!

The dam.
There were a bunch of otters
feasting on the fish coming through

Fish Hatchery - bigger fish

Fish Hatchery - smaller fish
