With Don & Scott

Jan  20th:

Chef and sous-chef

Dinner, made from scratch

A low key evening of hanging out with Don and Scott.  Don made whole wheat pasta - as in he made the dough, rolled it and cut it in to strips, and then later boiled it.  And pasta sauce from scratch - with tomatoes, capers, kalamata olives.  Very tasty dinner.

We then struggled to find a movie via Netflix.  Watched one for 5 min and shut it down, and another for 2 min and shut it down, and finally selected a third one at random which we then watched until the end - Hide Away.  We thought it was a weird movie because there was hardly any dialog.  The story was about a man who decides to move to a very small town on the Great Lakes and live in isolation on a houseboat, to overcome his sorrow over the death of his wife and children in a car crash.

The pups were happy to hang out with each other, but Oban stayed clear of the goings on!

Oban - watching but not participating!
