Lunch with Baappa and Anula Pu

May 5th:

Stopped at the fruit stand to get some
plantains for Baappa and Anula Pu

Lunch at Baappa and Anula Pu's.  As Teenagers the 5 of us would hop a bus and go to Padukka to eat Anula Pu's cooking.  We were like army ants - we were bottomless pits.  Anula Pu loved to feed us scrumptious food and we loved to eat.  It was a symbiotic relationship  :)

Lunch! Veggie cutlets just for me  :)

Path from the house to the street

I can't eat like that anymore - but still I ate more than I needed to.  It was all wonderful.  Then I laid on my side on the couch for a while like a beached whale.  I need to stop eating so much!
