Progressive Lunch for Patrice's birthday

Sept 29th:  We worked together more than 15 years ago, and since that time we have been having lunch together every week for a while, and then dinner together every month.

This month's gathering also celebrated Patrice's birthday.  In honor of her birthday we organized a progressive lunch - Starters at Leslie's (gazpacho made with home grown tomatoes and bruschetta), then lunch made by me (pasta with creamy veggie sauce including home grown zucchini and crook neck squash; homemade bread).  Then we went to a movie (Trouble with the Curve - a story about a dysfunctional father/daughter relationship against a baseball backdrop).  Then for a nice walk in the neighborhood and dessert at Marie's - banana cream pie.  Stephanie joined us for dessert.
