A Family Affair

It was a family affair - most of the family pooled their efforts to get the school painted and cleaned up.  The play room was painted, as were the book cases.  The play structures were hosed down.  Everything looks very nice - ready for the new school year.





















The boy takes a look at the dark yellow as it is going on the wall and his response... it is too dark, but you will pull it off if you paint some of the walls a lighter color and you keep the ceiling white.  How does an almost-eight-year-old know so much about colors and painting interior walls?????


The girl want to know what color the bookcases are being painted.  I said orange.  She looks at it and say...  It look more like tangerine.  Tangerine???!!?  How doe a six-year-old know such specific paint colors????!?
