Day 3 of the Grand Road Trip - CO, WY, NE, IA, MO, KS

August 31st:

It was a certain some person's birthday.  Happy birthday!

I was up at sunrise.  Was able to get some pretty pictures.

CO was up early - she made pancakes for us.

It is a 700 mile day.  Our plan was to leave at 7am, but we didn't get on the road until 7:20am - not too tragic.  As we left CO/JO's mile-long drive way, we saw prong horn deer.  How nice.

We drove from Northern Colorado back to Wyoming, to Nebraska, to Iowa (about 30 min!), to Missouri, to Kansas.  Got there about 8pm local time. About 700 miles.

Sometimes Nebraska is very flat...

...and sometime it isn't.

Not the Hershey of the chocolates, that is in
Pennsylvania.  Love the sunflowers along the road.
