It was a few months since I had seen Marilyn and Lindy. We gathered at Marilyn's house for dinner. Marilyn made a great veggie soup. We had dinner and enjoyed each other's company. We talked until about 11pm at which point Lindy left.
Then Marilyn made cookies and brownies to take to work the next day. We were talking too much and not paying enough attention and a batch of cookies got a bit overdone. So Marilyn, forever the trouper, ran to Winco at 1:00am to get fresh ingredients. The cookies were finally all done by about 2:30am!!! Then the next morning Marilyn got up early to make 12 pretty gift packages for her coworkers. She finally left for work about 9:00am, not bad for staying up so late.
